HEIDI BECKENBAUER – WIFE OF FRANZ BECKENBAUER

For decades, he was considered the “Kaiser” of German football. Franz Beckenbauer shaped the sport like no other and brought Germany one or the other great success. As captain of the national team, he became soccer world champion in 1974. In 1990 he worked as a coach of the team and managed to win his second world championship title.

From 2009 he was then President of FC Bayern Munich. Even if Franz Beckenbauer occasionally attracted negative media attention due to rumors of tax evasion or fraud, he is probably the footballer of the century. His wife Heidi, who is his third wife and whom he married in 2006, is always at his side.
