Gloria Henry – Age 97

The first American TV audience generation knows Gloria Henry very well, as she was quite famous in the ’50s and the ’60s, mainly for her role in Dennis the Menace. She played Dennis’s mother, Alice Mitchell. Henry was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 1923.

She initially worked on the radio in Los Angeles but turned to film in the ’40s. Some of her most famous roles were in Air Hostess, Law of the Barbary Coast, Bulldog Drummond Strikes Back, Racing Luck, and many more. Henry is in retirement since 2005, but she did return in one episode of Parks and Recreation in 2012.
