The Big Break

Once Presley finished high school back in 1953, he instantly started trying to make it big with his music. After years of hard work and a lot of rejection, his big break finally came in 1956 when he was able to release his first album. Released under RCA records, that first self-titled album of his became such a huge hit. He was praised for how well he played around with the country and rock ‘n’ roll genre.
