House Turned Landmark
With all the sold-out shows and roles he was booking, Elvis Presley was truly blessed with a lavish and comfortable lifestyle. One of the things he spent his fortune on was a nice Memphis property he called Graceland. When he passed away, the house became a public attraction. The people who come to Memphis to visit the house surpass 600,000 in a year. Since 2006, it’s been declared as a National Historic Landmark already.
