Humble bragging is often seen as a way to avoid seeming arrogant or boastful. However, it can come across as insincere and manipulative. People who engage in humble bragging may not even realize they are doing it, as it can be a subconscious way to seek validation and admiration from others.

Humans have a tendency to judge others based on their job. While it’s often assumed that jobs demanding higher skills demand more competence, it’s not always the case. Competence is a multi-faceted trait that can’t be determined solely by the level of skill required for a job. All this woman wanted, however, was momentary faith in social media.
