Mermaids in Disneyland?
Disneyland used to boast of ‘live mermaids’ who entertained the crowd by flipping their fins while basking under the sun near the blue lagoon. According to one former mermaid from the park named Suzanne Brewster, the water in the lagoon was too cold. Therefore, the mermaids were mostly found on the rocks.
Visitors could see mermaids in the Tomorrowland area during the 1959 summer and then again from 1965 to 1967 before the closure of the Submarine Voyage. The Disneyland authorities opened the Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage for visitors in 2007. It featured a few of our friends from “Finding Nemo,” a Disney venture.
The Happy Dance
Who wouldn’t love a welcome break from the grinding schedule of life? Hannah Brown had a whale of a time when she took a break from her busy timetable during the shoot of “The Bachelorette.” She chose Disneyland to let her hair down. She was seen rocking denim shorts and a tank top.
She completed her fresh look with a white sweater tied around her waist and white sneakers. But it’s her Minnie Mouse ears that caught our fancy. She made a cute picture while jumping in utter joy. Brown shared a few photos on her Instagram account. Her expressions reveal how happy she is.
What’s Minnie Up To?
The internet is a storehouse of all things, good or bad. This photo dates back to 2006, when some of our favorite Disney characters in Disneyland Paris assembled in the staging area. However, Mickey Mouse was noted by his absence. Suddenly, a chaotic moment arose, and Goofy and the other group members pushed Minnie from behind and fell on her.
Anticipating that the fans wouldn’t like the video, Disney tried to pull it down from the internet, but in vain. Fortunately, all this was in good spirits, and the mascots were supportive of the incident. They indeed laughed their hearts out after seeing the video.
