It’s not uncommon to see deers in Canada; in fact, this picture was taken in Alberta. It’s obvious deers there are free to roam in nearby parks. However, that does not imply that you are free to approach and pet them.

In fact, it’s the polar opposite. From this sign, it’s easy to tell the fate of any human who tries to pet these wild animals. Male deers can easily match humans for height and are armed with deadly antlers they can use to impale their foes. So the next time you’re in Alberta and see one, remember to resist the urge to pet these beautiful but dangerous creatures.
