Oh, how the times change! A huddle of female footballers in bikini-like jerseys would naturally spark some raised eyebrows, but they’re part of a league that’s been on quite a journey itself. Once known as the Lingerie Football League, where the attire was more suited to the boudoir than the gridiron, the league underwent a makeover.

In 2020, it rebranded to the Extreme Football League, tossing the racy name aside for a more intense image. Though the skimpy uniforms remain a talking point, the athletes are playing hard, tackling strong, and having a ball, both on and off the field.
