Vehicle owners will tell you how important safety and precaution are when owning a car. Because lives are at stake, ensure that your prized possession is turned off and secured and that the brakes are adequately engaged before adding gas. Unless one is out for a mischievous and destructive explosion, one shouldn’t have a running engine at the gas station.
This woman threw caution to the wind, perhaps finding the safety measures inconvenient and not realizing their worth. She didn’t get the memo, but it’s disturbing why no one nearby, including the photographer, said anything to her to avert the impending disaster.
