Julie Goodyear – 79,  Bury, Lancashire

Julie Goodyear has had an eventful life that includes several bad relationships. But she did have a great career, for which she is most notable for her role as Bet Lynch in the long-running British soap “Coronation Street.” She even won a National Television Award in 1995 and received an MBE in 1996.

After leaving “Coronation Street” in 1996, she presented shows like “Live Time.” She also signed an advertisement deal with “Shredded Wheat” and appeared in various celebrity shows, including “Come Dine With Me,” “Celebrity Big Brother,” and “Celebrity Stars in Their Eyes.” She also worked in theater with a role in  “Calendar Girls” on the West end.
