Eileen Atkins first appeared on Broadway in 1966, and her debut performance in The Killing of Sister George earned her a Tony Award nomination. Her other notable parts were in The Retreat from Moscow, Vivat! Vivat Regina!, and Indiscretions. She also got cast in mainstream acting gigs, starring in The House of Elliot and Upstairs, Downstairs.

She also ventured into working behind the camera as a screenwriter. Today, she still acts occasionally, and her most recent role was in Doc Martin. Atkins doesn’t have any upcoming films or shows, but you will hear her voice in the forthcoming Getting Away with Murder(s) documentary.
