June Brown – 94, Suffolk

June Brown appeared in several big and small screen projects in her career, but most of you would remember her performance in EastEnders. In the series, her outstanding portrayal of Dot Cotton won her the Inside Soap Award for Best Actress in 2001.

She stayed on the show for as long as she could, but it looks like she decided to exit for good in 2020. Brown is already 94 years old, so we understand if she wants to spend more time at home these days. She was married to Robert Arnold up until his death in 2003 due to Lewy-body dementia.
