Phoebe Cates was born in New York in 1963. Her acting career blossomed back in the ’80s after she appeared in the iconic movie Fast Times at Ridgemont High. There are lots of people that still remember the famous bikini scene from that movie. The actress also appeared in Gremlins, but her popularity started fading over the years.
