Finally, Flying Penguins

One of the few birds that cannot fly is the penguin. By finally getting into the air, albeit with the aid of an airplane, you could say that these adorable animals are creating history. Here at Virginia’s Norfolk International Airport, they can be seen tottering to get aboard their jet.

According to the Busch Gardens Williamsburg YouTube account, these lovely Magellanic penguins are Peter and Penny. To be at the Virginia theme park in time for the 2013 holiday season, they took a Southwest Airlines trip from SeaWorld San Antonio. It’s our hope they had a smooth flight to their destination.
