These bathroom signs tried to differentiate between the two genders using popular drink choices for men and women: a beer and a martini. The design choice may seem like a broad generalization and can even be offensive to some, but it’s hard not to chuckle just a little bit.

According to research observing data on how men and women drink differently, men usually prefer beers, while women prefer fruity drinks like wine more. But those results are likely unreliable since most men don’t want to sport a ‘girly cocktail’ in their hand. We’re sure the bathroom works, but given the outdated gender stereotypes, it could probably use an update.
