The Brand Has Surely Come a Long Way
The shapewear brand was already valued at a little over $3 billion by 2022. Kim says she has devoted her time, energy, and money to the brand as she considers SKIMS her baby. Seeing her friends and well-wishers united in support has also meant the world to her.
The brand, launched in 2019, has gradually expanded from original shapewear to sweatpants and pajamas. Shapewear now accounts for even less than 20% of its sales, and underwear represents most of it.
