Journalism Fails: Some Instances Where TV Anchors Made The Headlines For More Than Their Work

Abel Ferrara’s Interview with Conan

x

Conan O’Brien has been a TV show host for almost three decades now. Between 1993 and 2009, he worked on “Late Night” where he once hosted “Bad Lieutenant” director Abel Ferrara. Fast forward two-and-a-half decades, O’Brien admitted on a podcast with Dax Shepherd that Ferrara was his worst guest to date.

The reason behind this claim can be conveniently found on Youtube. Ferrara showed up to the interview, possibly intoxicated. He ran away from the studio moments before it was scheduled, which was a disaster in itself. When he returned, he couldn’t speak straight and mumbled words throughout the program.
