Covering Up

Every television network wants its audience to feel comfortable with its programs and presenters. That is why they have contacts where viewers can send their concerns. Meteorologist Liberte Chan found herself on the wrong side of the audience when she wore a sequined cocktail dress while reporting the weather in 2016.

Even though it was a sunny day, many viewers seemed not to like Chan’s dress, and they sent emails with their complaints. Interestingly, the producer did not wait for the program to go on a break; he handed her a jacket, live on air! Chan was confused, but she wore the coat nonetheless.
