Elliot Page was born with the name Ellen in Halifax. His first role came at ten in the film Pit Pony, which later derived into a TV series. However, the one that got him significant recognition across the board was the 2005 film Hard Candy where he played Hayley Stark.
Page has reportedly wanted to be an actor ever since he knew what a career was. In 2007 he played the title character of Juno, a film that earned both critical and financial success, and Page’s acting got nominated for an Academy for best lead actress.
