Seth Rogen and his partner in many movies, James Franco, are almost writing the new direction of comedy films for the past decade. He’s been in hits such as “This is the End,” “Superbad,” and the animated “Sausage Party,” which are pulling forth a unique cult of comedy goers.

That said, very few people know that this new superstar hails from the city of Vancouver. After winning a local comedy contest as a teenager, he was sure he wanted to pursue comedy as a career. In order to support his ambitions, Rogen’s household soon moved to Los Angeles, where he started to support his family at a young age.
