The 2018 Drone Awards showcased outstanding aerial photos, and one standout image was captured by amateur photographer Trung Phan Huy from Ho Chi Minh City. The photo depicts a colorful lobster village in the Hon Yen coastal area of Vietnam’s Phu Yen Province, featuring floating cages tended by villagers from the Commune using small barges.

The growing industry of lobster farming in Vietnam is supported by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, with baby lobsters bred in these floating farms being shipped worldwide. Trung used the waterproof SwellPro Spry drone to capture the village’s graphical nature, revealing the beauty of this unique aquaculture practice.
