Dick Cheney left American politics as an unpopular figure, having signed off the so-called “enhanced interrogation techniques” program and other policy failures in the war against terrorism, even humorously adopting comparison to Darth Vader. Cheney is well known for his long career with the Republican party, but his $100 million net worth depicts roots in the private sector. Part of this owes to his impressive property portfolio. He sold a waterfront estate in Saint Michaels, Maryland, for $2.1 million.
