Tony Beets: $15 Million
Tony Beets is a familiar face in the Klondike gold circles, and he also headlines the Discovery Channel show “Gold Rush.” He made a living by milking cows and later worked as a machine operator while still in Holland. Moving to Canada was the first step of turning his fortunes around, and he soon made it big in the Klondike precious stones industry.
The “Gold Rush” website describes Beets as a maverick mining legend who joined the show in its second season. He showcased his skills initially by advising Todd Hoffman about the value of drilling test holes. Beets because a series regular after returning for the show’s fourth season as Parker Schnabel’s mentor. His fortunes are now to the tune of an estimated $15M.
