Ben Simmons: $6 Million

While playing for the Tigers, which is the Louisiana State University’s basketball team, Benjamin Simmons earned the USBWA National Freshman of the Year title. During the 2016 NBA draft, he was the first overall pick selected by the Philadelphia 76ers. Even though he was out of commission for a year, Simons was recognized as the 2018 NBA Rookie of the Year.

His career stats now include making the NBA All-Star Game three years consecutively from 2019 to 2021. Simmons was also part of the 2020 and 2021 NBA All-Defensive First Team. In 2016, he was the subject of the Showtime documentary “One & Done,” exploring his journey from high school to being the 2016 first overall pick. Simmons is worth an estimated $6M.
