In 1985, the Japanese-American adult film actress, Asa Akira was born in the United States. She spent most of her teenage years in Tokyo, Japan before finally relocating to the U.S with her parents.

Akira joined the adult film industry in 2013 when she signed her first contract with ‘Wicked Pictures.’ She had been active since then and made over 500 movies.
