Squats are excellent training for the core, glutes, and legs; one person is a great advocate for the routine. Meet NASM-certified trainer Nicole Mejia who started the “Get fit and thick” movement. The slogan was her mantra after being told numerous times that she didn’t have the body type of someone fit.
She is known for her circuit-style resistance training paired with plyometrics, and the workout is bound to leave you buzzing with adrenaline after. Mejia, however, is a master at the sport, and from confident her pose and smile in this picture, you can tell she’s totally at ease.
