This Terrifying Playground for Children

Consider this: you’ve just picked up the children from school and all they want to do is play and run around. So you decided to take them to the park so they can let off some of their energy. And then you noticed this. Bummer!

This was actually specially commissioned by a French sculptor named Niki de Saint Phalle because she believed that it was best for children to deal with their fears in a secure environment. The sculpture is known affectionately as “The Monster.” Even though that seems like a fantastic idea, we believe playgrounds should be used for fun, and frightful monsters don’t exactly fit into that.
