Gumby Takes a Beating

Gumby was a popular character from the eponymous animated show. So, from the 50s to the late 80s, he was pretty popular among children and adults alike. Basically, with anyone who grew up watching the show.

Now we can’t say when this picture was taken, so it’s hard to tell whether these young boys are familiar with Gumby or not. But it does look like there’s no love lost between them and the green clay animation figure. But Gumby doesn’t seem to mind. If anything, he must be excited to have caught the kids’ attention.
