A Two-Year Break to Take the Tony Away
When great actors stop appearing on the screen, that doesn’t always mean they’ve stopped acting. Consider Carey Mulligan, for instance. She didn’t make a film appearance for two years after starring in “Suffragette,” but she worked extensively as a stage actress and even landed a Tony Award in the meantime!
It looks like Mulligan’s hiatus wasn’t a hiatus at all, and the brilliant London-born actress continues to be one of the busiest ladies in the game. Her 2022 agenda includes features in the dramas “Fingernails” and “She Said” and the sci-fi movie “Spaceman.”
