Patricia Arquette Peaked at the 2014 Oscars

When the former “True Romance” actress Patricia Arquette landed an Oscar for her work in “Boyhood,” we all expected her to go back to being a Hollywood A-lister. But the “Medium” star ended up returning to the small screen, proving to be unable to capitalize on her big 2014 Oscar win.

More than taking her career to the next level, Arquette’s Oscar represented the peak of her career. Saying that it’s all been downhill since then wouldn’t be fair, though, since Arquette continued to appear in her usual TV roles, making it to “CSI: Cyber,” “The Act,” and the 2022 sci-fi series “Severance.”
