Maggie Smith – 86, Ilford

Many of you probably recognize actress Maggie Smith for her roles in Downton Abbey or the Harry Potter films. She kickstarted her theatre acting career while still taking acting classes at the Oxford Playhouse, and then she eventually started pursuing mainstream work.

Her most significant achievements were her award-winning roles in The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie and California Suite. Smith returned for the Downton Abbey film in 2019, and she will star in its upcoming sequel in 2022. She also has another forthcoming movie called A Boy Called Christmas.
