Bo Derek used to be called Mary Cathleen Collins. She changed her name when she moved to Germany. When she was a 16-year-old, her boyfriend, John Derek, who was 30 years older than her, was prosecuted in California and had to relocate. They got married three years later.

It was death that would do them part when Derek died in 1998. Since 2002, she has been in a relationship with John Corbett, and the couple lives on a ranch in Santa Barbara, California. They had a secret wedding ceremony last year, so the news only broke a year later!
