When it comes to football, France is no laughing matter. They were one of the only four European teams to attend the first World Cup in 1930, and since then, they have made it to 15 other tournaments.

These two girls, draped in the tricolor, knew what was on the line as they cheered on Les Bleus during the 2014 Brazil games. Though their team fell short that year, they were triumphant in 2018, defeating Croatia 4-2 in the finals to bring home the bacon. In 2022, in Qatar, they fell at the last hurdle, losing to Argentina on penalties.
