Arctic Academics: When University Life is Literally Cool!
In what can only be described as the epitome of youthful audacity, a group of six students from the University of Alaska Fairbanks has thrown caution to the arctic wind. Clad in what would be considered beachwear, they pose jubilantly next to a sign that educates us on the institution’s land, sea, and space grant status.
But the showstopper is the digital thermometer beneath, reading a bone-chilling -45°C. Shockingly, they seem unbothered, gleefully smiling for the camera as though they’re soaking up the sun on a tropical island. Don’t be fooled; they’re not entirely reckless. Each student sports a pair of boots, because, let’s be honest, frostbite is no joke.
