SUE LYON – LOLITA, 1962

Sue Lyon began her career as a 13-year-old stunner and developed into a fashion icon and successful actress. She transitioned to the big screen in 1959, appearing in an episode of “The Loretta Young Show.” Her international stardom came with her first major TV role in the 1962 film “Lolita,” which won her a Golden Globe award.

Playing a character of the same movie title, Lyon was a young adolescent who had an infatuation with a literature professor. She reportedly got the role that attracted over 800 other interested girls in which she rocked this striking brown two-piece swimwear and a light blue fluffy hat.
