FARRAH FAWCETT – SUNBURN, 1979
The late Farrah Fawcett was an artist, fad stunner, and actress who became internationally famous for her role in the first season of “Charlie’s Angels.” Her Hollywood debut came as a 21-year-old, appearing in commercials and a few guest TV appearances, including in “Harry O” and “The Six Million Dollar Man.”
In 1979, Fawcett, who had become Hollywood’s feminine symbol, starred in the British-American detective comedy film “Sunburn.” She played Ellie Morgan, a hired wife to Dekker, where she rocked this blue denim-like swimsuit that became a popular poster. The “Extremities” actress was a pop culture icon who produced several best-selling bathing suit-clad posters.
