Charliebuoy’s Chubby Passenger
Imagine cruising along the water, and there, lounging at the back of a boat, is a walrus. This magnificent marine mammal seems perfectly at home, basking in the sun as the boat glides through the waves. Walruses are fascinating creatures known for their tusks, which can grow up to 3 feet in length.
These tusks are tools for fighting and dominance and serve as ice picks to help pull their hefty bodies out of the frigid waters. As for the walrus on Charliebuoy, it’s certainly an unexpected passenger. And whether or not it paid for this trip remains a mystery.
