Just Being Prepared, Nothing Serious!
It’s really not a surprise that grandmothers like preparing meals for their loved ones. And it appears that the one who carried this rolling pin on the flight was not an exception. Perhaps her high standards for cooking are not met by the kitchen equipment at her son-in-law’s house?
She was one of the lucky few who passed through airport security with the rolling pin without a problem. The TSA informed WNEP-TV that rolling pins could be stopped at the airport because they could be turned into dangerous weapons. Likewise, it’s not recommended to carry additional cooking equipment like meat tenderizers and other spices.
