A Beach or Landing Strip?

Imagine yourself lounging on the beach and taking in the sunshine. The cozy sunshine vanishes abruptly, and a huge engine overhead is heard roaring. When you open your eyes, an aircraft is visible only a few feet above you. How would you respond?

Of course, get your camera out and take a picture! You probably planned to spot planes if you made the trip to Sint Maarten’s renowned Maho Beach. However, keep in mind that extra caution is advised due to the landing strip’s closeness to the popular beach. The Men’s Journal reports that the close landing has claimed at least one life.
