Paige Spiranac had quite the golf journey, first swinging her clubs with the University of Arizona. Though the courses were lush, her time there was anything but memorable. Only playing in three tournaments and shooting a best score of 73? Well, let’s just say it wasn’t quite a hole-in-one experience. That was during the 2011/12 season when Paige’s game seemed more bogey than birdie.

But hold onto your hats, golf enthusiasts! She transferred to San Diego State University the next year, and oh boy, did she find her groove there. Her game flourished, enthusiasm soared, and those results? They started to look as polished as her nine-iron.
