Van Halen – Brown M&Ms Are A Big No-No

Big stars are no strangers to diva demands, so much so that most backstage personnel already expect this attitude all the time. The band Van Halen isn’t an exception because they are known for requesting a bowl of M&M chocolate without the brown ones.

According to Insider, this ludicrous demand started as a joke to organizers during concerts but it became a business tactic. Apparently, it is included in the clause stating that if there would be brown M&Ms, the full price of the show would be forfeited. David Lee Roth explained that this was their way of knowing if the promoter had read the contract.
