The idea that traveling by boat is relaxing isn’t entirely a myth. Yes, feeling the breeze of the ocean can restore one’s soul—if it’s summertime and you’re in calm waters. For fishing and cargo boat crews, cruising the Mediterranean Sea in mid-July isn’t always part of the schedule.

We know that modern-day boats are very well made, and on-sea accidents are relatively rare. However, we cannot avoid shivering when we look at this picture. We guess the men and women who get us fish and other goods from overseas deserve to be treated as heroes.
