A Life-altering Event

Elevators are a perfect illustration of how technology has bred laziness in humans. People frequently try violently stuff goods they shouldn’t be allowed into an elevator to get them where they need to go. These folks may get away with it often, but their sloth might have serious consequences.

They were trying to gently put a large sheet into an elevator, but they underestimated its proportions and smacked it against one of the elevator doors. Its big glass pane cracked upon impact with the floor as the doors closed and the elevator dropped. It’s proof that you shouldn’t touch anything until the elevator stops itself.
