Instagram User Maya Ilana and Her Daughter Anna DiNoto (Born in 2003)

In 2017, Instagram user Maya Ilana innocently posted a photo of her daughter Anna DiNoto on her 14th birthday to celebrate her, oblivious to the reaction it would elicit. Her happy celebration of her young one’s momentous occasion on social media laid bare her youthful looks, akin to those of the younger DiNoto.

As if that wasn’t enough, Ilana proved that she didn’t only share a commonality with her daughter in terms of youthful looks. The proud mother accompanied the picture with teen jargon and references that we suspect proved quite difficult for many people of different generations to decipher.
