Tracy Shaw – Maxine Peacock from Coronation Street

The lovely British actress/singer Tracy Shaw was the victim of a persistent stalker that followed her around for five years before getting caught by the authorities. Strangely enough, Shaw’s Coronation Street character – Maxine Peacock – also fell victim to the same sort of deranged man… In 2003, she was killed by the fictional serial killer, Richard Hillman, portrayed by Brian Capron.

Forced to abandon the soap following her character’s tragic death, Shaw has appeared briefly in Doctors, Casualty, and Grease Monkeys. In 2018, she joined the cast of the horror movie Monster. She made her latest on-screen appearance in the special The Big Quiz 2020: Coronation Street vs. Emmerdale.
