Lucy Benjamin – Lisa Fowler from EastEnders

We’ve been exploring the lives and careers of some of Britain’s most popular actors. Still, the lovely Lucy Benjamin has actually received a nomination for Most Popular Actress at the 2001 National Television Awards. Known for her successful stints in The X Factor: Battle of the Stars and I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, Benjamin’s been mainly busy portraying the EastEnders character of Lisa Fowler.

She was given the role in 1998 after appearing in the series Close to Home, Press Gang, and Jupiter Moon. Now 51 years old, Benjamin is currently working in the new sports-inspired comedy-drama Game of Two Halves, set to be released in 2021.
