Pam St. Clement – Pat Butcher from EastEnders

Another bonafide British soap legend, the ever-charming Pam St. Clement, has still not announced her retirement. Still, she’s been away from the set since appearing in a 2017 episode of Casualty. She’s known for portraying the character of Pat Butcher in EastEnders between 1986 and 2012. That same year, she was granted the British Soap Awards Lifetime Achievement Award.

Born in Harrow on the Hill in 1942, St. Clement studied to become a teacher but never embraced the job. A modern 79-year-old woman, St. Clement has admitted to being romantically attracted to both men and women and is an outspoken supporter of gay rights.
