In 2000, Oscar-winning actor Julia Roberts and cinematographer Daniel Moder met while filming “The Mexican” with Brad Pitt. However, she was still dating actor Benjamin Bratt, and he was married to partner Vera Steimberg at the time. That’s why it was not until 2002 that the lovebirds became an official couple, with reports suggesting they had been romantically close for a few years by then.
Despite rumors that Roberts was the reason for Moder and Steimberg’s parting, she denied them. He completed his divorce in 2002, and he and the “Pretty Woman” star married that same summer at her ranch in New Mexico.
