A Facebook flicker in 2010 turned into roaring love by 2012 for Mark “The Beast” Labbett and Katie Labbett, as she was drawn to The Chase’s filming set. In 2014, the quiz titan shed his daunting alter ego, stepping into a tuxedo and life partnership with Katie.

The twosome soon became a jubilant threesome in 2016 with the arrival of a baby boy, adding a symphony of giggles and joy to their household. However, even love stories encounter tough chapters. After seven adventurous years, the Labbetts closed their book in 2020, citing pandemic strains and their significant age difference as contributing factors to their divergent paths.
