Ellen Hoog – Field Hockey
Ellen Hoog, a field hockey player from the small Dutch town of Bloemendaal, wowed the world with her incredible stick skills. She won two Olympic gold medals with the Dutch women’s national hockey team, three European championships, and two world cups, playing over 230 times.
Retired in May 2017, Hoog was a bonafide prom queen in the not-so-graceful game of hockey. She’s arguably the best female athlete ever to play the game, making headlines for her records. The mother of one’s good looks also worked magic, drawing the media to her! Hoog appeared on the TV show “De Verraders” in 2022.
